New Student Orientation
At Mosaic Christian College, we want to ensure that every student is fully prepared to begin their coursework with confidence. Our New Student Orientation Process is designed to guide you through the essential steps required before starting your academic journey. Completing these steps will help you understand our policies, finalize your enrollment, and access important resources.
1. Complete Your Enrollment Requirements
All students must submit an online application and, if under 18, have a parent or guardian electronically sign the Parental Consent Form. Once this is completed, you will receive access to the next steps in the orientation process.
You are also required to electronically sign the Affirmation Document, confirming that you have received and reviewed the Student Catalog, Student Handbook, and Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. This ensures you understand the academic expectations and policies at Mosaic Christian College.
Additionally, all students must complete and sign the Enrollment and Financial Disclosures Form before beginning their program.
2. Submit Transcripts and Verify Identity
To finalize your enrollment, you must submit your official transcripts from previous schools or colleges. High school transcripts are required unless you are transferring from another college. Electronic transcripts should be sent directly from the issuing institution to mosaic.info@proton.me.
Since MCC is an online institution, we must verify your identity. Students must submit a government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, or state-issued identification) via email. If preferred, students may schedule a Zoom meeting for identity verification.
3. Watch the New Student Orientation Video & Take the Exam
Before starting your program, you are required to watch the New Student Orientation Video and complete a short exam. This ensures that you understand how our programs work, what is expected of you, and how to access important resources.
4. Degree Planning & Transfer Credits
Once your transcripts have been received and evaluated, you will receive a degree plan outlining the exact courses required for graduation. It is your responsibility to follow this degree plan carefully to avoid taking unnecessary courses.
If you are pursuing a bachelor’s degree, you may also apply for Life Learning Credits based on previous ministry and work experience. Up to 30 credit hours can be earned through this process, but applications can only be submitted after receiving your degree plan.
5. Academic and Student Support
Students who have documented learning challenges should contact the Student Services Office to discuss possible accommodations. We are committed to helping all students succeed in their studies and providing necessary support.
Additionally, MCC provides an online library with a variety of resources to assist students with research and coursework. You are encouraged to explore this library early to become familiar with the tools available.
6. Staying Connected & Devotional Commitment
To foster spiritual growth, students are required to participate in Daily Devotions and Discipleship (DDD). This program encourages consistent Bible reading and discipleship. Be sure to bookmark the MCC website on your phone, tablet, or computer for easy access to daily devotionals and student resources.
7. Questions and Withdrawal Policy
If you have any questions during the orientation process, you can contact Student Services via email at mosaic.info@proton.me or call 1-972-357-0536.
If at any point you decide to withdraw from MCC, you must submit a request via email. You will then receive a link to complete the official withdrawal form to ensure your records are properly updated.
Finalizing Your Enrollment
Once all steps are completed, you will be cleared to begin your coursework. Following this orientation process ensures that you have all the necessary information, support, and tools to succeed in your studies at Mosaic Christian College.
We are excited to welcome you and look forward to seeing how God works through your education and ministry!
