The Google Theological Journal Search is a specialized search engine designed to help students, scholars, and researchers access theological journals, articles, and resources from trusted academic sources.
 

ERIC (Education Resources Information Center)
ERIC is a comprehensive online digital library of education research, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. It provides free access to thousands of peer-reviewed journal articles, research reports, policy papers, and other academic resources.

 

CORE
CORE provides access to millions of open-access research papers collected from universities and academic repositories around the world. It is an excellent resource for graduate students seeking high-quality, thesis-level research and diverse global academic perspectives.

Open Access Theses and Dissertations (OATD)
OATD offers free, searchable access to thousands of graduate-level theses and dissertations from institutions worldwide. It is a valuable tool for students seeking to understand the structure, formatting, and citation practices of scholarly writing at the graduate level.

JSTOR Open Content (Free Content Only)
JSTOR provides free access to a selection of peer-reviewed journal articles and academic book chapters through its Open Content collection. Students can explore high-quality research by using the “Open Access” filter to find materials available without a subscription.
 

Project MUSE Open Access (Filter for Open Access)
Project MUSE offers free access to select scholarly journals and books in the humanities and social sciences from leading university presses. Using the “Open Access” filter, students can find high-quality academic resources for research and coursework.

An international journal for students of Theological and Religion studies. This is a tremendous resource for journal articles related to anything in ministry. (Be sure to use articles and not book reviews.)

OPEN LIBRARY

Open Library’s search tool is a free, collaborative catalog maintained by the Internet Archive that lets Mosaic Christian College staff and students locate and borrow millions of books—both public domain and modern—across formats like PDF, ePub, MOBI, and audiobooks, with built-in options to read, list, and track titles. (Requires that you set up an account.)
 

DIRECTORY OF OPEN-ACCESS JOURNALS

This service provides free, full-text, quality-controlled access to scientific and scholarly journals. We aim to cover all subjects and languages. There are now 16.631 journals in the directory, 6,323,516 articles, 126 countries represented, and in 80 languages.
 

PROQUEST (GREAT JOURNAL RESOURCE)

Developed for teaching and research success across the curriculum, ProQuest’s expertly curated DEI collections offer authentic, diverse perspectives spanning books, video, scholarly journals, primary sources, and more. (Be sure to apply the SCHOLARLY JOURNALS filter on the left and sort them from the most recent to oldest. Then choose those articles with full text.)
 

OPEN ACCESS DIGITAL THEOLOGICAL LIBRARY

The mission of the Open Access Digital Theological Library (OADTL) is to curate high-quality content in religious studies and related disciplines from publisher websites, institutional repositories, scholarly societies, archives, and stable public domain collections. The OADTL uses the world’s most advanced integrated library system (ILS) for cataloging and discovery. This system, OCLC’s WorldShare, makes content easily discoverable and retrievable. Professional librarians staff the OADTL and curates content without regard for theological or confessional perspective.
